NY startup DashLocker provides New Yorkers with 24/7 access to their laundry. DashLocker’s model relies on locker-filled storefronts that are accessed via credit card swipe. Users leave their clothes in a locker and over night the clothes are picked up, dry-cleaned and re-delivered to the locker within 24hrs. Once the items are back in the locker, users are notified via text or email.

DashLocker licenses software from Laundry Locker of San Francisco to manage orders and allow users to point to stains and tears on digital photographs of their dry clean items. The company opened its flagship location on the Upper East Side at 1566 2nd Ave. In June, and has recently signed leases for three additional Upper East Side storefronts (addresses: 1733 First Ave.; 1436 Lexington Ave.; and 220 E. 78th St.) which will open later this year. They are also in negotiations with landlords of residential buildings to install DashLocker in apartment buildings.
