NY Internet company IAC has acquired a new website, DateHookup.com. This is IAC’s third online dating acquisition, in addition to Match.com and OKCupid.
IAC, run by media mogul Barry Diller, did not disclose the purchase price. DateHookup.com has more than one million unique visitors a month according to IAC. The love business has been good for the media conglomerate, which said its dating websites contributed more than $500 million in revenue in 2011. Their total revenue last year was $2.06 billion.
