Westchester’s Katonah Museum of Art latest exhibition, Ice Age to the Digital Age: The 3D Animation of Blue Sky Studios opens tomorrow. The exhibit unveils the digital animation process behind the woolly mammoth, kindly elephant and blue macaw. A series of workshops, gallery talks and family activities reveal the artistic and animation process. Professional filmmakers and animators form Blue Sky Studios are collaborating with the museum and the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville. The exhibit, which will be open until January 20th, also features a number of interactive elements, including light tables where museum goers can create their own animation sequences.
