At the World Low Cost Airline Conference, JetBlue announced a higher-speed, in-flight Wi-Fi option for their customers. This service will be free of charge. according to Mashable, JetBlue also switched to ViaSat to provide their Wi-Fi service because they claim to be faster than the competitors. There have been claims that the service allows users to load up to 10 pages of information in less than a minute. There are also rumors that this Wi-Fi service may be close to streaming capabilities, which would allow for Netflix watching during flights. The service will be offered in early 2013.
