Charlie O’Donnell, former principal at First Round Capital, has raised $3.5 million for his new fund, Brooklyn Bridge Ventures. LP’s in the new seed stage investing venture include Two Sigma Ventures, KEC Holdings, partners at FRC and others, according to Business Insider. O’Donnell has not announced any startup investments yet, but says that the new fund has six deals in the works, three of them based in Brooklyn.
“Raising this fund was a real learning process for me,” says O’Donnell. “I’ve never been expose to a fund fundraising. It was my first time going through it and seeing how all the stocks are structured. And it’s a new world to network in.”
