The Wall Street Journal has released a new app made for both the iPhone and iPad, which is now available in the iTunes store, according to Fishbowl NY. Until now, the publication offered two separate apps. Now, the universal app features more frequent updates and offers the same content on both the iPhone and the iPad. Alisa Bowen, head of product at Dow Jones, said, “The development of this app – and in general, increasing the efficiency and consistency across our products to enhance user experience – is a crucial step in the direction for new products in our pipeline.”
