Business Insider is adding sponsored content to its website. ‘Brand Insider’ allows advertisers to buy sponsored slideshows, videos and even create blogs. The Jack Daniels brand currently sports an advertorial slide show on the site. Pete Spande, chief revenue officer, is leading the push into advertorials. He said his sales team is helping advertisers find new audiences for content they have already created. Julie Hansen, president and COO, says selling branded content has a lot of untapped potential and expects revenues to jump.
