H. Bloom is a Flatiron-based tech florist. The luxury flower delivery service wants to cross-pollinate with other independent florists by sharing its proprietary software. Their program acquires customers, buys flowers, creates arrangements and schedules deliveries.
H. Bloom’s clients are monthly subscribers. The subscription model is efficient and reduces spoilage, a savings they pass along to customers. The company also delivers flowers in three other cities—Washington, San Francisco, and Chicago. CEO Bryan Burkhart says they plan on expanding to 25 North American cities within five years.
“We have software that acquires customers, buys flowers, creates flower arrangements and delivers them,” Burkhart said. “We believe we have ways to allow the 22,000 mom and pops in the marketplace to benefit from our technology.”

Spin zone! “We have software that acquires customers [..]” .. #skeptical .. Not sure what software ‘acquires’ a customer. That’s called marketing & sales: done by humans with high HR costs.
