New Jersey’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received more than $380,000 in funding for programs protecting children from online sexual predators. Money from the U.S. Dept. of Justice allows investigators and forensic examiners from the NJ ICAC Task Force to receive training from the National White Collar Crime Center. They will learn data acquisition and recovery techniques needed to track online predators. Funding will also go to community outreach programs that inform parents and children about potential online dangers.
