NY based Kollabora, a marketplace for craft supplies, has recently raised $2.3M in new funds, according to Pando Daily. Users on Kollabora can click through project instructions, techniques, how-to’s and then buy their crafts supplies on the same site. There is a sense of community on Kollabora through their “workplace” section. In this section users can bookmark projects that they find useful and also view a news feed of crafters that they have chosen to follow.
