According to the latest Q3 report from CB Insights, two out of every 10 Internet deals are done in NY. Even though NY ranks forth in VC funding (behind Silicon Alley, Massachusetts and SoCal) its deal count reached a five-quarter high. Small seed VC deals make up 49 percent of the activity. While NY is tech dominated, green tech and healthcare tech businesses are also emerging.
