NY tech companies hired 900 people in the past three months, but the rate of new job growth has slowed. Cook Associates Executive Search says hiring at digital and Internet companies increased by 3.2 percent in the third quarter of 2012, down from 5.6 percent in Q2 and 6.2 percent in Q1. One bright spot in the survey is that it’s mostly new firms that are hiring.
