Percolate’s business is piping hot. During the last six months, the NY-based social media startup has signed up 25 Fortune 500 companies including Reuters, GE, American Express and Master Card. The companies are paying 10,000 a month for Percolate to suggest social media content to blast to their followers.

The company was started by James Gross, a former Federated media vice president and Noah Brier, the former director of strategy for the Barbarian Group. Less than two years old, their company is already making $3.5 million a year.
