NYs tech community has reached enough critical mass for VentureBeat to open a Manhattan office. Last week the tech media had a private launch party celebrating their new offices. VentureBeat had only had two NY-based staffers and some freelancers when Matt Marshall, founder and editor-in-chief moved from San Francisco to New York in July. They’ve hired more employees, including Ken Beach as chief revenue officer, and moved into a co-working space with Internet Media Labs.
