As the NY tech community still struggles to get back on its feet, employees are working from home, other people’s apartments, coffee shops and basically anywhere with power and Wi-Fi. Boxee opened their offices to Kickstarter employees, while a few people located at the Hearst Tower building. Co-working space Secret Clubhouse took in employees from Gawker, Tumblr and SpokenLayer.
According to The New York Times, even Billboard took refuge at QuadGraphics. Bill Werde, editorial director, publicly thanked the startup on Twitter.
