Tumblr reported that its popular blogging site has reached 170 million worldwide visitors, securing its position in the top ten U.S. blogs. Fast Company reported that the news was posted on Tumblr’s staff blog. Founder David Karp said he’s “humbled” by the news. Tumblr is known for hosting often whimsical sites, including “Kim Jong-Il Dropping the Bass” and “Lesbians Who Look Like Justin Bieber.”
