NY City Council introduced a resolution for city agencies to install “bus clocks” in all of the 3,300 bus shelters around the city. Unlike the posted bus schedules, the clocks would offer riders real-time bus arrival information. The New York Observer reports that bus clocks are already available in Albany, Syracuse and Champaign, Ill., and Boston has an online version.
