The French digital art startup Curioos just opened a NY office. The startup sells artists’ work in various formats. Founder and CEO Matthew Valoatto told TechCrunch, “We don’t want to be a big manufacturer with the same artwork that comes in all sorts of formats. We want to perpetuate our curating role. It is very important for us because other websites host as many artists as they can.”
Curioos’ invite system limits the number of artists who sign-up. The company plans to sell 3D printed objects, smartphone cases and decorative objects.
