mxHero’s new Gmail Chrome extension is a big email upgrade. The NY-based startup created a platform allowing Gmail users to send self-destructing emails, get notifications when recipients open attachments and an easy way to send bulk emails. According to VentureBeat, mxHero’s applications are already used by Zimbra, Box and VMWare, and work across any email platform.
Other features allow users to send emails at pre-arranged times, easily deliver large files and notify the sender if recipients don’t respond to messages. Self-destructing emails turn into images and are deleted from mxHero’s server after being viewed.
