The NYC Dept. of Small Business Services and the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment announced a new training grant program for small businesses in media and entertainment. The Made in NY Media Employee Training (MET) Program funds the training of employees in the latest technologies and platforms.
The program is making $500,000 available to NY-based businesses. MET has already funded two companies, Bureau Blank and Tangent Vector. Bureau Blank, based in Chinatown, creates a wide range of media—including print, motion and 3D—for other companies. Manhattan-based Tangent Vector is a digital advertising firm.
