Magnify just raised $1 million of a planned $7 million second round of funding. Chris Kelly, Facebook’s former general counsel and chief privacy officer, led the round. Kelly told VentureBeat that Magnify could become a “Wordpress for video creation on the Web.” The NY-based startup created a way to let users profile videos by tagging them. Using Magnify’s tools, publishers such as TEDx can curate videos, aggregate and host content.
