NY based magazine corporation Hearst will be giving each of their online magazines a new look over the next few months, according to Tech Crunch.
Tom Smith, their Vice President of Technology, said the new platform will have responsive design and the ability to personal the way readers want their screen. And with a broad redesign in place, Smith hopes to tweak the site with other small changes. Long-term examples may include targeting the advertisements and recommended content links to each reader individually based on location and other factors.
The first two online magazines to make the transition will be RoadandTrack.com and TownandCountryMag.com.
