Venture capital firm Lightbank chose the Flatiron District as the location for its first NY office. The Founders Brad Keywell and Eric Lefkofsky said this is their firm’s second location. The Chicago-based VC firm plans to invest in more NY and East Coast based companies. According to IT News Online, about 20 percent of its portfolio is invested in early-stage NY-area startups, including Frank & Oak, Contently, Centzy, Bevel, Ovuline and OnSwipe. Lightback principal Vicki Levine will head the NY office.
