Many NY Brokerage firms are taking a modern and redesigning their websites to better appeal to buyers and sellers, according to The New York Times. These remodeled sites include full screen photos, tours of neighborhoods, and advice pieces on home sales, buying, and renting. Sites are providing detailed searches for amenities and views and helping connect buyers and agents using social media. Some real estate agents are also struggling with the same problem that travel agents went through with the onset of Expedia, Travelocity, and other travel sites.
