Although Hurricane Sandy is in the past for many NYers, still others are feeling the impact even today. FEMA has now partnered with two local real estate websites to help the displaced find apartments in the NYC. Although they already had a Housing Portal, FEMA is working with RentHop and UrbanEdge to adjust to the uniqueness of the market in NYC. The two companies have relationships with both buildings and brokers that help them find listings for FEMA.
