The Bronx has the fastest average speeds for both downloads (13.5 Mbps) uploads (5.8 Mbps.) Manhattan’s download speed of 9.3 Mbps was the slowest of all five boroughs. Brooklyn ranked second to last with 9.6 Mbps. AT&T (in the Bronx) has lightening fast speeds of 23.4 Mbps average download time–the fastest of all the carriers. Sprint had the lowest speeds in all five boroughs. NY is comparable to the rest of the U.S.—which has an average download speed of 9.2 Mbps.
