#Simulmedia Receives $5 M in Investor Funding

NY-based television advertising company Simulmedia has received an additional $5 million in funding, bringing it’s total funding since it’s beginning to $32 million, Xconomy reported. Some of it’s top backers include Avalon VenturesTime Warner Investments, and Union Square Ventures.

The company uses data from boxes monitored by Nielsen and other monitoring sources to predict television viewing behavior across the United States. They said that they will use this funding to further develop their audience targeting platform and to add services for media owners, agencies, and advertisers.
