As the NY tech scene continues to grow, Brooklyn has received grant programs, study money, and a new urban engineering school. What it’s missing, according to the New York Observer, is tech tenants. Aside from a 3D printing firm and MakerBot Industries, the area has few startups.
The Observer said that while it might take a while for tech companies to follow the “first-wave creatives” that are already there, it is inevitable that they will come. They cite that there are also few other places for the companies to go.
