The Long Island City theater festival WiredArts Fest is encouraging it’s audience to remain connected virtually throughout their performances. Audience members are encouraged to tweet, share photos, and use their app, but even those at home can participate because the show is offering a live stream of all 24 performances. There are four HD cameras following the dancers to provide the best angles for the live stream viewers. The stream will appear on both the festival website as well as on UStream. Although the stream is free and the actual performances cost money, the stream does have video advertisements throughout the performance.
