The New York City Planning Commission‘s land use review process has approved a 2014 groundbreaking on Cornell Tech. The Roosevelt Island campus hopes to help educate future engineers and technology experts to stop the hindering of the tech scene stemming from lack of qualified developers.
The development plan now faces final approval by the City Council and if it is approved is predicted to open in 2017.
