The MTA has announced the launch of at least 77 interactive touch-screen kiosks in subway stations across the city. The ‘On the Go!’ stations have been places at Bowling Green, Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Ave, and Penn Station, among others. They allows travelers to view ifnormation about their trip, view service statuses, escalators and elevators, Bus Times, and more.

The MTA will be installing new kiosks in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx as part of license agreements with CBS Outdoor and Control Group Inc. The kiosks will give NYC Transit a Digital Signage Network that will allow it to communicate with customers at the stations to avoid paper signs.
