Silicon Alley ad company Yodle recently announced that he feels that an IPO is likely in the future of the company. Yodle is making steps towards a public offering with the acquisition of the Atlanta-based company Lighthouse Practice Management Group. The ad platform for small businesses builds web sites does SEO, and places advertisements on search engines and social media and has 950 employees. Last year they had $131 million in sales.
Yodle CEO Court Cunningham said that the acquisition will add more value to their product and accelerate the timeline for successfully filing for an IPO.
