<p><strong>Startup Weekend</strong>, part of the <strong>Global Entrepreneurship Week</strong>, provided to be a 54-hour successful event for NY developers, marketers and entrepreneurs in order to share ideas and network. The recently held event was organized by the not-for-profit <strong>Kauffman Foundation </strong>and has proven to be a success story for the over 30,000 entrepreneurs its helped since 2007.</p>
<p>At the event, <strong>Ryan Flynn</strong>, founder of a startup to help give hearing impaired access to cellphone conversations, was weary of the concept upon arriving at the Friday-Sunday night event. But he explains, &#8220;It was great to have two solid days to focus on solutions to things I’d been stuck on. We had a working prototype by the end of the weekend,” according to <em>Crain&#8217;s New York. </em>Its three directors also have written a book titled <em>Startup Weekend: How to Take a Company From Concept to Creation in 54 Hours</em> to explain the experience thoroughly.</p>
