In Debian Conference's eleven-year history, this will be the first time it's being held in the USA. Debian Day, on August 1st, is when doors are open to the general public including talks and demonstrations about the benefits of Debian software.

The fellowship provides artists with assistance to create new transmission works and conduct  research using free103point9's resource library and equipment holdings.

The deadline for submission is July 15th and the fellowships span over a 10-month period, as it  is designed to accommodate artists with have other commitments during this period and each fellow is awarded an artist fee on $1,000.
